SOIL

Black Soil

Black soil, also known as Chernozem or regur soil, is a rich and fertile soil type characterized by its dark color, high organic matter content, and abundance of nutrients. It is formed under temperate continental climates with hot summers and cold winters, where the combination of abundant rainfall and seasonal freezing and thawing processes leads to the decomposition of organic matter and the accumulation of clay minerals.

SOIL HEALTH SUPPLEMENTS

Soil Plough Mix

Benefits:

Improves soil fertility

Provides essential minerals and plant growth nutrients to the soil

Boosts germination, and healthy growth of seedlings and helps in the establishment of plants in the soil.

Functions as a pesticide for the roots and developing shoot

Promotes nitrogen fixing

Promotes plant growth, disease resistance and yield.

Usage & Application for Farms:

Take 5 - 10 kg of the product, depending on the nutritional deficiency & fertility of the soil.

Sprinkle all over the land before ploughing.

After sprinkling, ploughing, sowing, etc can be carried out as per schedule.

Usage & Application for Home Garden:

Take 50 gm of the product, mix in 1/2 kg soil and sprinkle in the pot of approximately 10 litre capacity. Plant / seed can be sown after this.

For garden, take 1 kg product, mix in 100 kg of soil or manure or dry dung or compost, and sprinkle all over garden of 1000 sft area. Plough & sow the seed or plant as necessary.

SOIL

Soil Conditioner

A soil conditioner is a material added to soil to improve its physical properties, such as water retention, drainage, aeration, and overall structure. This can help plants to grow healthier and more vigorous. Soil conditioners can be organic or inorganic, and they can be made from a variety of materials.

Benefits of Soil Conditioner:

Soil conditioners offer a range of benefits that contribute to healthy plant growth and overall soil health:

  1. Improved Soil Structure: Soil conditioners help to break up compacted soil, allowing for better air and water penetration. This improved soil structure facilitates root growth and nutrient uptake by plants.
  2. Enhanced Water Retention: Soil conditioners, particularly organic amendments like compost and manure, increase the soil's ability to hold water. This is crucial for plants during dry periods, reducing the need for frequent irrigation.
  3. Nutrient Availability: Soil conditioners can release nutrients that are locked up in the soil, making them more readily available for plant uptake. This can enhance plant growth and vitality.
  4. Erosion Control: Soil conditioners, especially organic matter, help to bind soil particles together, reducing soil erosion caused by wind and water.
  5. Microbial Activity: Organic soil conditioners provide a source of food and energy for beneficial soil microorganisms, which play a vital role in nutrient cycling and overall soil health.
  6. Reduced Soil Compaction: Soil conditioners help to loosen compacted soil, making it easier for plant roots to penetrate and explore the soil for nutrients and water.
  7. Improved Drainage: Soil conditioners can improve drainage in clay soils, reducing waterlogging and promoting root growth.
  8. Reduced Soil Salinity: Soil conditioners, such as gypsum, can help to reduce soil salinity, making it more suitable for plant growth.
  9. Enhanced Soil Acidity: Soil conditioners, such as lime, can raise the pH of acidic soils, making them more favorable for certain plant species.
  10. Promote Seed Germination and Establishment: Soil conditioners can create a more favorable environment for seed germination and establishment, increasing plant survival and growth.
